These are the favorite kind of parties on behalf of
the cecyt2 students. This is where only young kids go to and the most important
thing here is alcohol. So if you want to become popular or if you have the
capability of throwing one of these big parties to satisfy your friends, here
are a few tips:
How to throw a party?
1.- Organizers
- Have a group
of friends to help organize the party.
- These must be people which you trust because a lot
of money is handled in these events.
2.- Place
-They say the
most important thing to throw a party is the location, because not anyone is
willing to make a party just for teenagers, on the other hand, this involves a
lot of responsibility. This is why the best parties are made in big and rented
places. (gardens, salons, etc.)
-This place
must be close to school so the guests won’t find it easy to find. And of
course, you must have private buses that will charge your guests $10 to take
them to the party.
-This place
must also have all the necessary services in order to have a good time, like
bathrooms, a dance floor, a place to put away your backpacks, and most
importantly, a stage to place all of the DJ’s equipment.
3.- Date and Time of Event
-Parties tend
to take place in the evenings or after school.
-Approximately
between 3pm to 9pm. (though they can end sooner, depending on how people
leave).
-The most
common dates in which to make a party is at the end of a term or semester,
because it’s when most of the students are willing to attend a party.
4.- DJ’S
-This is a very
relevant topic, because there must be good music.
-These DJs must
not be professionals, or else their fee will be too expensive. (but even so, not anyone can take on the responsibility of
playing music.)
-A DJs set
lasts around 1 hour, so if you’re going to have a party from 3 to 9, you’ll
need around 6 DJs.
-Each DJ will
play a different kind of music, the most popular music is electronic and
reggaeton. Speaking of electronic music, there are many types that must be
taken into account, like: EDM, Techno, House, Electro House, Trap, Dubstep, Hardstyle, Trance,
etc.
- Lastly, the DJ has the responsibility to
assist, mix live music, try to give the party a good vibe and complete his
whole hour. The maximum payment for this service is around $1,000.
5.- Money.
-It’s more than obvious that you will need a
great deal of money to throw this party, for example: to rent a place, sound
equipment, the DJ’s fee, etc. But of course, all of this is covered thanks to
the so called “Presales”.
-With each party, the organizers must include
great designs in their presale tickets, these must have very distinct
characteristics that not any ordinary person can fake.
-The tickets must be sold at least 1 month
before the party and they must have a price of approximately $50.
-With the money gained from the presale
tickets, you will be able to pay all the party debts and in some occasions,
there is money left over for the organizers themselves, which can turn out to
be a good business, but not anyone can pull it off, which is why the organizers
must be people you can trust in.
